SPACEJOA opens its annual festival in Yeoju mountains, South Korea,
'Lines & Colors of Korea' from the 25th to the 31 May.
And for the opening special concert, she will play Korean composer's music with another string Haekum player.

HANJI - Papier coréen by Sungduk HONG

Mon objectif n'est sûrement pas de reproduire ces peintures anciennes à l'encre grâce à la photographie, mais d'élargir la frontière de la photographie en y ajoutant l'esprit de la peinture à l'encre afin d'approfondir l'expression.

La volonté de la recherche incessante permettant de trouver la méthode qui dépasse la limite de la matière photographique est pour but d'obtenir l'effet de la peinture et de l'émotion dans une autre matière.

Développer la photographie sur papier photo ou l'imprimer avec de une imprimante digitale est un travail ordinaire que tout le monde sait faire.

Car le papier coréen ayant des difficultés d'impression causez de sa surface rugueuse et rempli de particules étrangères provoque d'énormes problèmes lorsqu'on imprime la photo dessus.

Ce papier ne fut pas conçu pour cette impression photographique.

Pour régler ce problème majeure, il a fallu d'innombrables efforts, du temps et d'argent sans parler des incalculables erreurs...

My first glance at one of these works was struck not only by the visual side but also by the confusion of the genre; Print? Painting ? Engraving?

... no ... not even the picture ...

I don’t care !

A genius child, "I said to myself, in his eyes shining with ideas overflowing at all ends, which overwhelm him, and with every new idea escapes the antecedents still bubbling.

A child in an adult body, a smile in his eyes that understand and read too quickly and instead of words, he sees images ... images that he alone can make exist.

These images do not need to be captured by a defined genre that is simply classified: photography.

'No .. no! I'm not a photographer, ' he told me.

A maker of images, a magician of forms, a great resercher of what his soul sees,

Too curious about life, he captures the wave of things ...

To be himself, he had to pass as many people for a respectable man in society ...

But not that ...

Not this, not that either ...

Later, the photograph attracted him.

The trigger triggered a crazy desire to meet himself, passing through the history of Korea permeated in the royal palaces.

He finds traces of himself, the DNA of the Nature of the Universe, which translate into a conception of series of images that go beyond the photographic imagination.

He can not think of anything but research, again and again, ...

While his fellows seek to expose, he does not think of it.

Not yet.

But when ?

When these works push him to choose the date.

Abundant and multiple birth as the brilliance of a diamond.

I found the diamond in a gold mine where gold seekers only see nuggets.
